This was from
our first big fundraiser where we partnered with the March of Dimes for their March for Babies walk around downtown Austin.
We set a goal for $1,000 and raised $1,280! I was so proud of our team! Anyway, if there is someone else I should send to,
then just let me know and I can forward it to them!

These GFWC TEXAS clubwomen made time in an afternoon after a day

pictures of some amazing tree sculptures tucked away in front yards of homes that artists gave second lives to those enormous
canopy trees destroyed by Hurricane Ike in 2008. Their tour ended with a breathtaking ride on Harborside
Blvd along Galveston Bay where cruiseships converge. Seen l-R: Frances Garza, Sue Miller, Irene Irey, Marsha Wellman, Sandy Chisholm, Mary Vongsavath & Tissa Peterson.
